BIDS – SURPLUS PROPERTY

Statement of Intent

The Ralls County R-II Board of Education will receive bids for the following surplus property:  Arc welders, drill presses, Bus, Concession Trailer, and  high speed buffers.  The surplus items are located at Mark Twain High School, Center, MO and may be viewed on Thursday, August 13, from noon to 3 pm.  Pictures of the items are available on the district website at http://rallsr2.k12.mo.us/

 Instructions to Bidders

1.       Quote highest bid price for each individual item.

2.       All bids must be submitted on the official bid proposal form attached.

3.       Bids will be received in the Superintendent’s Office, Ralls County R-II School District, 21622 Highway 19, Center, MO  63436 until noon on August 20th, 2015.  Bids will be publicly opened at 1:00 pm on August 20th in the Superintendent's office.  All bidders are welcome to attend.  Bids received after the hour specified will not be considered.

4.       The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and accept the bid that is most advantageous to the district.

5.       All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked BID-SURPLUS PROPERTY.

6.       The successful bidder will present payment to the Ralls County R-II School District within five (5) days of being notified his/her bid was accepted.  If payment is not presented within the five (5) day period, the bid is no longer valid.

7.       The successful bidder will remove the surplus property within seven (7) days of making payment to the District.  If not removed within seven (7) days, payment and property is forfeited.

8.       The successful bidder understands the surplus property will be bought as is, with no warranty or guarantees either expressed or implied by Ralls County R-II School District.

9.       The District is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damage to property during removal of the surplus property.
